Where were you before ActionCOACH?

As a business, we were successful, we had over 20 years of exceptional history, a strong client base and we were trusted by many as their marketing partner, but there was a feeling that we weren’t where we all wanted to be. I felt a little bit downbeat, I was frustrated, there were questions that I couldn’t answer. I now realise I was just too close to it and I needed a bit of outside help to help me find the answers.

Why engage with ActionCOACH?:

I had a fairly new management team around me and I wanted to get some help to bring us all together and start something that was special for the development of the business.

How long have you been coached?

We started coaching in January 2020, which was an interesting time to say the least.

What results have you achieved? 

He helped us to stay calm and focussed on strategies to succeed during some very turbulent times, we actually had a record year during the covid. Since we started I now have a fully functioning Senior Management Team that looks after the day to day running of the business. The results speak for themselves. We have had incredibly strong trading periods & the business is on very strong footing, which enables us to make better investment decisions for the business going forward.. We are now focussed on growth across all service areas and are actively looking to recruit new staff. To be honest, it’s been life changing for me.

One piece of advice for anyone looking at taking on a coach

Working with a coach will get you to answer the questions that sometimes you avoid, it also helps to get you focused on the areas that you don’t really see when you’re stuck in the day to day. If you’re considering it, stop, just go and do it.
