Where were you before ActionCOACH?

We had recently started the business and it was a little unpredictable. Trying to find time to juggle everything was difficult.

Why engage with ActionCOACH?:

I’m not arrogant, I appreciate that I don’t know everything. I’m a big believer that a mechanic would be able to run a flower shop better than the florsiot, because they vacant make the bouquet, they would have to run it as a business, so having someone like ActionCOACH looking from the outside in was always going to add value, as well as hold us accountable to implement what was necessary and give us frameworks to help build the business better.

Time being coached 

We started working with ActioNCOACH in February 2020, just before the pandemic, so it was perfect timing as we were completely unsure about what to do.

What results have you achieved? 

From the first session results started improving. Over the past three years we’ve seen multiple 6 figure increases and every year has been a record year. We’ve had ups and downs when it comes to recruitment and that’s an area we’re really focused on at the moment. We know how to grow this thing now, now it’s about getting the right people around us to enable it to continue growing at the rate we can grow it to.

One piece of advice for anyone looking at taking on a coach

Drop any ego or arrogance around asking for help, it’s been the best decision we’ve made. It’s tough and you have to do the work, but having ActionCOACH by your side is a no brainer. It’s very easy when you’re running your own business to get bogged down and not look at how the business is running as a whole & having a coach gives us that space and respite to look at the business from another perspective.
