Bestall & Co is an award winning garden design and implementation team specialising in high end bespoke garden design.
Where were you before ActionCOACH?
I felt a little lost, the business was developing. I believe everyone needs an element of accountability. I’ve had mentors since day one of my business, at the time I had just finished working with a mentor so I was actively looking for someone to work with.
How long have you been coached?
I met Jon in February 2020, then the inevitable lockdown happened so I had initially decided to put it off until everything had settled down. We then spoke again in May 2020 & Jon said to me ‘Come on Lee, lets just do this’, I’ve not looked back since.
What results have you achieved?
I certainly wouldn’t be sitting where I am today! The business has grown exponentially, it’s actually hard to look back at where we were. We’ve doubled the business two years in a row. We have a team that runs the day to day running of the business. We’ve gone from a Garden design business, to a garden design and implementation business which means we can manage the build for the clients. We’re in our own purpose designed hub where clients can come and visit us to feel and see their garden coming to life. We’ve got better business processes & I have someone by my side that can pick me up when I have a wobble & someone that always sees the best in me.
One piece of advice for anyone looking at taking on a coach
Just do it! You’ve literally not got anything to lose. The worst case scenario is your business will improve!
